In our view, the product launch is a good technological demonstration of the development progress of Respin, the joint venture between Spinnova and ECCO, and the material’s suitability for practical applications. However, its commercial significance remains limited at this stage. The news also does not change our view that Respin is still clearly at an earlier stage than Spinnova’s wood pulp-based solution.
