Under Tolja’s leadership, there has certainly been a great drive to get things done. Of course, the foundations were laid a long time ago when Huttunen was in charge, but hats off to the management and the entire Bittium staff.
The setup is clear now with clearly two different operating segments, Medical and Defence, which will continue on their own paths. Indeed, it’s possible that Medical will find a new “home” either under the wing of a larger player or through a spin-off listing. Time will tell.
It has been fairly easy to follow the past year with confidence: partnership agreements, new countries ordering products, involvement in counter-drone operations with Sensofusion, and acquiring nearly a quarter of MarshallAI’s (Kradient Intelligence Oy) shares to strengthen expertise in software-based AI solutions.
Even though the share price is currently taking a beating partly due to shorting by WORLDQUANT, LLC, I would still imagine an interesting end to the year ahead. Or then all these “omens” and such will lead to nothing, and the “steady” plodding along will continue.
P.S. I own Bittium shares, which may lead to confirmation bias and make me see only a rosy future ![]()
