Yubico is known for its innovative solutions and strong commitment to improving security worldwide.
YubiKey security keys are manufactured in Sweden and the USA.
Of the products, for example, the YubiKey 5 series also features NFC, meaning it supports contactless reading and meets the latest security standards; a security key that works with USB-A, USB-C ports, and Apple Lightning.
Does anyone else have user experiences with this security key?
It is highly praised in various places around the world and is indeed a good product in its simplicity. Water, dust, and shock resistance and its small physical size are advantages, and above all, security. Nowadays, when everything is digital, there is also a reason to take care of your own digital security so that data breaches do not occur.
I myself have had to learn the hard way that data security is not a given, so I highly value a security key that helps protect my digital security.
And of course, I will soon own two YubiKey 5 series keys, USB-C and A keys with NFC; it’s worth buying two right away, one as a backup
It seems there are many global companies as customers using Yubico’s products.
Btw. Yubico moved to the Stockholm main list today.
Trading in Yubico shares on Nasdaq Stockholm begins today
“Today marks an important milestone for Yubico as we take the step to join Nasdaq Stockholm’s main market. When we announced our plans to go public in 2023, we also shared our goal to make this transition. It is gratifying that we have now achieved this goal and look forward to continuing our journey as a leader in secure authentication and creating value for our shareholders and customers worldwide,” says Mattias Danielsson, CEO."
We actively use it and practically have only good things to say. Passkeys and various passwordless methods are constantly evolving, and a mobile device cannot always be used for all credentials => An interesting investment target and technologically very functional and easy to use.
I haven’t looked into the quarterly report yet, but I believe there will still be significant growth once awareness increases and people understand how convenient the product is and how easily it adds security to 2FA login.
A bit off-topic, but I’ve been using YubiKey 5-Series security keys (A- and C-USB) for almost a year now, and I can honestly recommend them for secure 2FA login.
The A-port dongle is slightly larger, 45mm in length, with touch detection in the middle, and the smaller C-USB is only 28mm long and has touch detection on the edges. It’s used with a password and/or touch detection, a quick-to-use extra layer of security for secure 2FA login.
It’s not cheap, but it’s really good and fast. One key has two different keys; during setup, either one or two different keys are created (2 slots in the key’s internal memory) with the management application. I won’t elaborate further, but I praise it because it’s a good product and I use it daily. And it’s really durable, for example, as a keychain in your pocket constantly, and it doesn’t mind anything.
