I disagree with shifting these expectations. The guidance itself already implies that Dollarstore’s earnings at least wouldn’t decline any further; on top of that, alongside the earnings release, the company hyped up the fact that Dollarstore’s like-for-like customer traffic had supposedly rebounded in June–July.
