For general stock market monitoring and reviewing company key figures, the Arvopaperi magazine website works well. Key figures for profitability and solvency for a 1-year and 1-quarter period are presented clearly:

Nordnet also offers foreign companies, bonds, etc. The graphs are ugly, but company screening can be done using individual common key figures. The search bar works well. Information on 1 or 5-year highs/lows for stocks is not found in many services, but Nordnet provides it.

Nasdaq’s pages are extremely ugly, but they offer unparalleled Morningstar reports (Fact Sheets) on companies’ development over the past ten years and numerous different key figures calculated in PDF format. As far as I know, the report is updated once a day:

If you already know which company you are interested in, the most comprehensive and accurate information about the company can be found in the company’s annual report on its own website.

For experienced investors, if you are interested in your own valuation, there is an excellent lecture series in English by finance professor Aswath Damodaran on YouTube. The material is challenging but gives much more than reading opinions online:

www.4-traders.com is the easiest way to check analysts’ target prices (low, high, consensus) for different stocks.

CNBC is a good show.
Kauppalehti’s discussion forum. At least it has entertainment value.
Shareville, Sijoitustieto, Osakeareena, and Avanza Arena.
There are more in the US. They’re not in this computer’s bookmarks right now.

www.investing.com Investing is very similar to 4-traders. It’s just as easy to manage your own stocks and draw on charts if you wish. Plus, it’s a really effortless site to set and manage price alerts, which helps you focus your time!

www.finviz.com Finviz, on the other hand, is a fun environment for fans of key figures. There’s plenty to screen and information to delve into. However, it only covers NASDAQ, NYSE & AMEX stocks..

Does anyone know if it’s possible to find historical daily prices for Helsinki Stock Exchange (Helsingin pörssi) stocks at different times of the day? I tried looking but couldn’t find them myself.
