What news websites / information sources do you use for following and understanding the markets?

What sites, blogs, etc. sources of information do fellow investors use to monitor and better understand the markets?

Here are mine in no particular order:

  • Inderes / Inderes discussions and linked materials
  • Sijoitustieto
  • Bloomberg
  • Nomad Invest blog
  • Nordnet Blog
  • Seeking Alpha
  • Market Watch
  • Interesting people and organizations on Twitter
  • Kauppalehti
  • Reuters
  • CNBC

I follow world events through YLE, meaning news and current affairs programs.

Then I have to give a shout-out to Inderes for the videos and streams that have opened the door to many opportunities that I wouldn’t otherwise have access to or time for.

I’ve complained before that the hardest part is knowing who’s telling the truth and who’s just giving a sales pitch. For example, if Nokia’s Suri’s speeches and visions had come true, the 5G buzz would be in a completely different state now.

I also browse Kauppalehti online, but the editorial quality has sunk to click-bait garbage. Many operators are behind a paywall, even though the content certainly doesn’t justify it.

These came to mind:

  • Warren Buffett’s annual letters
  • Companies’ own websites
  • Seeking Alpha
  • Seligson’s Phoebus blog
  • Yahoo Finance
  • Inderes
  • Talouselämä magazine
  • Arvopaperi magazine
  • Tekniikka & Talous magazine
  • Viisas Raha
  • CNBC’s Warren Buffett section

I generally follow the business world and companies’ operations quite a lot, so I have a feel for where things are going.

Inden Forum, Hmm, would it be necessary to follow others?

Oh, right, occasionally Inden’s Morning Review and TV bring some cheer to everyday life

Uncle Masse, FA, it’s worth following, no need to understand if you’ve attended Uncle’s investment school
