Merus Power - Power quality, storage and more

As you pointed out, everything can be done in three shifts. Subcontractors used to do high-precision mobile phone assembly in three shifts (back when robots didn’t assemble them yet). That’s when capital productivity is at its best. Personally, I’m always skeptical whenever someone says something can’t be done (paper machines never run on Midsummer… etc.). When competing in business, you always have to look for ways to improve profitability/productivity, or the other guy will. At least for me, I’d dump the stock of a company if the CEO said they only ever run their factory on a single shift. Adding a second shift is already a major improvement. Instead of building a new factory, they should first see what cards an extended second shift, a third weekday shift, etc., have to offer.
