The forum's biggest hits

The forum has been missing a channel for the hardest and hottest news and gossip from both the forum and the entire financial industry. It’s time to fix this deficiency; here is the first one:

The forum’s nobleman, FA, the beloved Uncle Masse, has decided to renounce his nobility and all rights and obligations associated with it!!! At the same time, the Uncle is giving up all his stock holdings, both the legal ones and the semi-legal schemes carried out through nominee registrations.

The accumulated assets and inexhaustible investment stories will be placed into a foundation in a manner to be announced later.

Would it be number 3?

Hit or miss?

What if Masse is so cunning that he deliberately resigned from his position on April Fool’s Day, so that no one can really say for sure whether the man is serious or not? Who knows. I thought that an ennoblement title can never be renounced once it has been proclaimed. One can, of course, renounce the tasks and obligations associated with it, but the title remains. How about Masse?

It’s truly heartwarming to see how clever Masse-setä’s (Uncle Masse’s) congregation youth are: they didn’t panic at the uncle’s announcement, they meticulously chewed on and analyzed every word, number, and letter, and within a few hours, they publicly dared to suspect if it was just an April Fool’s joke after all. They are truly made of analyst material.

But in Masse’s and the masses’ world, nothing is obvious: what will the youth say if the uncle here and now cancels the aforementioned drastic opening bang?:thinking::thinking:

Still April 1, 2019

Masse, FA, nothing is as it seems

Here’s a fun bombshell for those following Remedy and the gaming industry

Has Masse secretly sold his patent on the entertainment value of investing to Aston and is now retiring?

This is, of course, one possibility, but please try to deduce more. Just go to the beginning of the thread, read Masse’s comments downwards, and then ponder different options.

Uncle Masse will reveal the secrets of this forum’s biggest surprise yet a little later.

This wasn’t supposed to be a spring riddle from FA (Finnish Analysts) to follow the Christmas Riddle and the Pearl Riddle, but that’s what it seems to have become::slight_smile:

Masse, the nutcracker

Unveiling the secrets of the forum’s first “hardest hits”:

There weren’t many responses on the board. Perhaps the hottest dividend frenzy of spring had drained the forum members’ energy, and they no longer had the potency (I mean kick) to solve Masse’s tricky puzzles.

Uncle had initially announced his renunciation of nobility above, but the announcement was made on April 1st, so it could have been true or an April Fool’s joke. On the other hand, on the same day, Uncle retracted his announcement, which also could have been true or an April Fool’s joke.:thinking::thinking:

According to classical four-field theory, all possible options remained valid or were overturned, so this puzzle wasn’t ultimately solved even by Uncle Masse himself. Uncle got tangled in his own ropes, so it’s better to cut the ropes somewhere hidden in the back left and forget about establishing foundations for investment assets and stories!

At the request of the congregation, the investment game and stories continue. YES!

Uncle Masse, nobility obliges, you can’t get rid of the title, as Astrix noted above

Inderes’ coverage expands to Sweden. Yes!!! This is a really big deal. There’s plenty of potential there.

What about Sotkamo Silver? This isn’t exactly new. Quite far from a pure Swedish company

Now, a bigger bang than the pseudo-resignation announcement that started Masse’s thread: Inderes, an analysis company, gave its employees decision-making power over their own salaries and also information about what their colleagues are paid.

No one within the company should be offended if the Evangelist and the Archbishop (formerly Chief Priest) of Masse’s congregation decide to slightly increase their five-figure salaries, which have been in a wage slump for a long time, by a few more grand. The men (and with their advice, Uncle Masse) have earned their money. YES!

Uncle Masse, always wanted everyone to get rich :heavy_dollar_sign::heavy_dollar_sign::heavy_dollar_sign:

Analysis company Inderes adopted a radical model: Employees given decision-making power over their own salaries…

Inderes adopted a model where employee salaries are open and employees decide their own salaries in teams.
