I can’t find any market share estimates right now, although I have a feeling I’ve seen some kind of estimate somewhere. Of course, that market is concentrated in Finland, so in 그 sense, the competition authorities might have something to say.
At the same time, I’m not quite sure if buying that would make sense from Alma’s perspective. In that business, Alma has a strong brand and the business runs on the company’s own “platform”. Therefore, I don’t see that it would be worth paying for another brand or technology etc.; instead, the idea would be to buy customers, i.e., increase volume. Then the question arises as to how to retain customers during the acquisition phase and how much customers use multiple providers. For smaller companies, recruitment is not continuous, so holding onto such customers would naturally be more difficult. These are my initial thoughts, I’ll have to think about this some more!
