I’ve encountered something similar when discussing with a certain contractor. They also switched away from Admicom.
I’m not intimately familiar with the software, but I’ve understood that Admicom is quite complex and pushes users into a specific process. It has a lot of features, but users’ IT skills aren’t sufficient to apply them. For this reason, this contractor also switched to a cheaper and simpler ERP software.
I can’t assess whether Admicom’s sweet spot customer is more likely a slightly larger company with more users on the platform.
