Here’s a recent comprehensive report on Viafin, open to everyone: Viafin Service laaja raportti: Vakaa suorittaja vaisussakin markkinassa - Inderes
Today, I went through all the companies on First North Finland and compared their returns from the listing date to the present. Most have produced losses, and there are only two clearly profitable companies: Admicom (+179%) and Viafin Service (+190%). Dividends, however, tilt the game even more clearly in Viafin’s favor.
Despite this, the company surprisingly interests very few people. On Nordnet, the company has 934 owners, and on inderes.fi, it has 3542 followers. If nothing else, shouldn’t the title of dividend aristocrat, which looms at this rate by the end of the decade, at least arouse interest…?
One would think so.
Today, Olli and I talked about Viafin in a video, and in addition to these themes, we also touched upon the hidden potential in data centers and the company’s disciplined use of cash, which has not been squandered, for example, on international expansion.
Total return seems to be 244% and CAGR 18.2%. ![]()
Hopefully, this boredom continues to pay off. ![]()
E. Adding the mentioned Admicom
Viafin’s Q1 results above expectations! However, caution regarding the rest of the year still shines through in the comments due to geopolitical tensions, but on the other hand, it is also mentioned that investments in the electricity sector support Viafin in the current market.
Robocomment: Viafin Service Oyj:n liiketoimintakatsaus 1.1.-31.3.2026 - Inderes
I wonder if I can even be bothered to read the actual earnings release today…
Ah, @Tomi_Valkeajarvi apparently managed to! ![]()
Here are my own comments, although there isn’t much to add since the review is concise. A good performance in a sluggish market.
Flagging risks and fearing geopolitics is typical for Viafin. This same caution repeats quarter after quarter, year after year. Management likes to hide their light under a bushel![]()
It’s nice to see it this way for a change.
Ollin preview report, ahead of Viafin reporting their results next Monday ![]()
We have not made any changes to our forecasts and we still expect the steady performance of maintenance to keep the company’s earnings level in line with the comparison period. However, we are upgrading our recommendation to “accumulate” (previously “reduce”) as the valuation has fallen below the midpoint of our acceptable range. We reiterate our target price of 21.0 euros.
