Unfortunately, there have been some older portfolio companies and artisanal-stage firms recently. Of course, the number of Sprinvest’s owners has tripled over the year, and the Finnish startup buzz (pöhinä) is growing in itself. For the same reason, larger and smaller VC funds are entering the market, capable of acting as partners to quality startups all the way through. For example, Lifeline has a new 400 million euro fund, the idea of which is to finance “all the way from the very early stage to global growth.”
