AI mentioned!
On September 23, 2026, Smart Eye unveiled the world’s first multimodal automotive AI agent, combining human, vehicle, and environmental context.
The agent interprets the situation, decides the next action, and executes it. It utilizes speech, driver identity, gaze, attention, emotional state, alertness, and passenger count, as well as interior and exterior sensors of the car (e.g., ADAS).
A richer context reduces computing requirements, allowing agentic AI to become viable and production-ready faster. In the demo, the agent handles tasks through vehicle functions, creates widgets on the dashboard from live data, and links gaze with exterior sensors to understand what the driver is pointing at outside the car.
The platform is agnostic: it works with various language models, audio systems, and agents either at the edge or in the cloud. The first public demonstration will take place at the InCabin Europe event in Barcelona on September 22–24, 2026 (booth #305).
CEO Martin Krantz: This is the first platform to combine human, cabin, vehicle, and environmental context for automotive agentic AI.
