Still a fresh visitor to the Inderes forum, but I’ve grown fond of it in a short time! Years ago, I dedicated time to studying online poker and followed several poker forums, where perhaps the best content was the members’ poker diaries, both for their educational and entertainment value. I think I even kept my own diary for a while, and when I presented my own decisions and solutions, I felt appropriate pressure to justify my choices or learn from the comments of more experienced forum members.
Recording players’ life and game events could also foster a sense of community. When a writer bounced back after a bad run and a bankroll crisis to become a winning player again, there could be collective joy in the thread, and vice versa. I sense a similar sense of community here on this forum. Small-scale investing (especially passive investing) doesn’t, of course, produce content that’s as thrilling, but I could imagine shared investment diaries being a suitable way to share more about one’s hobby, and perhaps also challenge one’s own thoughts. It would also function as a light version of investment blogs, which many might be interested in keeping, but which might be too heavy to maintain. Plus, of course, it creates interesting content for forum visitors as well.
Would there be many members interested in light blogging here, for whose investment diaries a separate discussion area could perhaps be established?
