I watched this (IMO) oddity (Kinds of Kindness, 2024) to the end, albeit in three parts, starring the same faces (Emma Stone and Willem Dafoe) as Poor Things (2023), and with the same director, Yorgos Lanthimos, which explains the film’s strangeness. I can only recommend this to fans of strange films. I like Willem Dafoe, but in all honesty, I must admit that the guy is drawn to peculiar roles, though his acting is, of course, excellent (IMO). I watched it on HBOmax streaming service, but it also seems to be available on Disney+, for those who might be interested. I’ve apparently seen another one of his films, as I was confirming that this was my first and last, but I’ve seen The Favourite (2018) at some point, so it wasn’t the first, but it will be the last. Too weird for me, who is so weird that I reject something this weird, a bit like same-poled electric charges repelling each other.
