Series and Movies - Entertainment for the Darkness

Poor Things was a somewhat different Hollywood movie, which I found to be playfully charming and at times even brilliant. Emma Stone did a great job in her role, but I also thought Mark Ruffalo’s and Willem Dafoe’s performances were quite successful.

The film’s stylistic elements caught my eye, from the costumes and hairstyles to the settings, which all fit the film’s style very well. Not quite a masterpiece, but I thought it was a really good movie.

This movie might be strange in the wrong way or just plain boring for some viewers, but it’s not really a “difficult” movie (in either a good or bad way).
