Canada’s Patriot One Technologies is investing in a safer world.

Strong belief in the future, a couple of years ago I bought the first ones and refilled them in January. They recently sold the first devices to schools in the USA.
Been involved for about 13 months. Purchases were timed to the year-ago peak prices, with the exception of a few reloads. This company was my first direct stock investment, and even though the ride has been quite cold, I still have strong faith in this technology.
I’m eagerly awaiting today’s opening because the latest announcement, at least in my eyes, was one of the most significant I’ve seen during my time with the company.
It’s also nice to see discussion about this company on the Inderes side.
Low 7-figure revenue via Xtract creates some hope for the future, but who knows about these things. 26 million in cash and no debt, but money is burning, and there’s no news of bigger deals yet.
It seems to live largely on news. Big swings with low volume, etc., etc.
There’s also pressure for warrants in the summer, and for this reason, I believe news will be pushed out, even if by force.
My firstborn. I won’t let go, even though I’d like to, because it’s not a safe bet on any level. Personally, I do believe in the company, but I’m afraid it will hit a wall before a bigger breakthrough.
Let’s put some text here again after a long time, as the company has had a small newsflow going for a while.
The devices were used in the NBA Summer League and now also in an NFL preseason game. There is no information on whether it’s a paid demo or what.
However, the newsflow has come to life, so maybe this company, long ago declared dead, will still pull off its trick?
As an owner of Lappupino, it’s been painful to watch this company over the past few years. There was constant talk of entering the market big, touting a few pilot projects, and praising the superiority of the technology, but nothing ever really seemed to happen.
Luckily, the CEO changed last year, and after the change, the whole atmosphere has been completely different. Communication has been more abundant, marketing and recruitment more aggressive - there’s been a positive buzz all year, and the investors’ Facebook group constantly features all sorts of pilot, reseller, and customer updates. Sales haven’t been significant yet, but I have faith in future earnings reports and years to come - it seems like the company is now actually doing things in a better way compared to the past.
Patriot has changed its name to Xtract One Technologies, and adjusted EBITDA is positive for the first time.
At the same time, revenue increased by approximately 200% compared to the previous year and from CAD 5.8 million to CAD 10.3 million compared to the previous quarter.
