Nightingale Health - New Blood on the Stock Market
\nwhere employees are kept healthy as production machines. Individuals, on the other hand, may be interested primarily in their own desires, which might be a pack of smokes a day and a Fazerina frozen cake for dinner. The test doesn’t necessarily take away an individual’s desires, but through the test, society could take away the smokes and cakes (to use an extremely exaggerated example of a control society).\n\n
\n\nIt would be just wonderful if an extra tax were imposed on an individual based on biological age (NG) tests!\n\nIn response to @ilmarinen regarding the claim about ultra-processed foods (UPF), I disagree. In today’s grocery store, about 80% of products are UPF, and they are shoved down our throats from every angle. There was a time when unhealthy lifestyles could be criticized, but then body positivity came along and made that taboo as well.\n\nGuidelines also place far too much emphasis on things like LDL results, while the truly significant ones, like triglycerides, get little attention. I did notice an improvement in this regard when a new nurse became the company contact at Terveystalo; she went through and even explained that and many other values that have been overlooked for ages while the inaccurate LDL cholesterol measurement took center stage.
