I have to speculate, having been involved in this for a long time, that if the pace is this at this point of the year, then December will bring something massive..
Nexstim has been making deals at a great pace!
One could now happily join the top 25 owners by clearing the 8.38 sell level, where a good 34k shares are for sale in the order book ![]()
In a couple of hours, there’s that company presentation for shareholders, and it’s probably worth tuning in if you’re not yet familiar with the company. It starts live around 6 PM here: https://www.youtube.com/@pk-seudunOsakesäästäjät
Apparently, Nexstim will also be presented at the Stock Exchange Building’s open doors in August: Tervetuloa Nasdaq Helsingin perinteisiin Avoimiin Oviin keskiviikkona 27. elokuuta! Mukana ovat mm. GRK, Tekova, Duell Corporation, Nexstim, ORTHEX, Tamtron Group, Nokian Panimo Oyj, Sunborn Group… | Erja Retzén

Why do clinicians choose nTMS and where is the field headed? In this short video, Professor Josh Brown from McLean Hospital and Harvard University shares his personal journey into the world of TMS, the life-changing results he has witnessed firsthand, and why he considers neuromodulation one of the most exciting fields in modern medicine.
We are just days away from the Clinical TMS Society Annual meeting in San Diego! We invite clinicians, researchers, and anyone interested in personal nTMS to stop by and meet our expert team.
We are excited to showcase Nexstim’s E-field navigated TMS and share how this technology is shaping the next generation of brain stimulation therapy. Whether you are advancing clinical care, educating the next generation, or pushing the boundaries of neuroscience, there has never been a more exciting time in this field!
We hope to see you there!

This was a good and clear presentation. Recommended viewing.

A really good package, especially for new investors. We also talked about how orders are concentrated in the last weeks of the year and why.

Valuable research
Has anyone else calculated the number of devices delivered during H1? If I’ve interpreted correctly, then 13 in total. 8 orders were announced in H1, and at the time of the financial statements, 5 deliveries shifted to 2025. The assumption is that those 8 would have been delivered. H1 2024 deliveries were 10.

On Friday afternoon, a good 24,000 shares finally changed hands at 8.38e. I wonder if the path is now clear, now that that whale has been slaughtered?
Kyösti Kakkonen is certainly a seller (at least he reduced his holdings by nearly 30k units last month), so there are still about 400k units available for sale if he wanted to get rid of all of them.
More interesting than the seller would be to know who directly invested €150k in Nexstim, but this will become clear at the turn of the month. I believe that for a moment the selling pressure is off and hopefully a small positive upward trend would be in store. At least the news coverage has been positive, so that would support positive share price development. On the other hand, if more stock becomes available for sale, it offers a nice opportunity to add shares at reasonable levels.
I called Kyösti last week and wanted to discuss why we might have a different view on Nexstim, as he had reduced his shares. However, he stated that his view on Nexstim is also very positive and he had only tried to trade with a small part of his position with the idea of buying back cheaper, but a couple of weeks ago he had looked into Nexstim’s situation more closely and decided that he would stop selling altogether.
As a healthy skeptic, however, I called Euroclear’s public inquiry line and asked about the ownership situation. The ownership amounts of Joensuun Kauppa ja Kone Oy and K22 Finance had, according to information available today, remained the same as at the turn of the month, so at least those sales from the beginning of last week were unlikely to be Kyösti’s. Friday’s trades probably weren’t yet visible in today’s figures, as trades are settled later.
At the same time, I inquired about a few other names, and Schengen investments and Ollikainen had both sold just a little, but they have, of course, traded before as well.
My own guess is that Kyösti might even have bought that big pump on Friday, but this will become clear later this week. In previous months, even larger amounts have changed owners on the nominee register side, and could last week’s block trade also have originated from the nominee register?
It looked to me at least that Friday’s sales were the same order that was initially an iceberg of over 36k pcs on Thursday. And then on Friday it was no longer an iceberg. On the other hand, it was quite nice to see the whole batch being picked up. In the grand scheme of things, it’s not a big deal now, I’m more personally waiting to see if there will be new announcements about machine sales while there’s still a bit of H1 time left ![]()
The scientific community has given top recognition to a study conducted in Finland, where TMS treatment has been used to treat schizophrenia patients. This was mentioned in a newsletter aimed at Nexstim clinicians: https://www.jpn.ca/content/50/2/E125
Preliminary promising results have also emerged regarding the treatment of spinal cord injury using TMS. This was also mentioned in a newsletter intended for Nexstim clinicians: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2772529425000530
If this device is capable of treating a spinal cord injury, then it’s starting to be quite a miracle gadget already ![]()
Following this news and scientific developments, one can only tip their hat to Nexstim’s employees, considering the company was on the brink of a considerable abyss.
At this rate, if development continues and more applications emerge for the device, it would not be a surprise if this became Finland’s next unicorn.
Magnetic stimulators might very well be the tonometers of the day after tomorrow ![]()
Many probably haven’t realized that this company only has 7.18 million shares, and its value at today’s rate is 67 million euros. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if such technology started to interest the big pharmaceutical industry as well. Everyone can imagine what kind of price tag such a company would have if it were decided to buy it off the market.
Yes, this story is starting to spread “like wildfire.” Inomed Polska on LinkedIn:
