I used to work for a small equipment manufacturing company, and it was standard practice to take out a loan if there wasn’t enough cash on hand to fulfill a received order (components, manufacturing). I am absolutely certain Nexstim could have secured the (loan) funds quickly if that had been the issue.
What happened now was a type of share issue as well, though one where participation was extremely restricted. I would have bought at that discounted price, and likely many others would have too.
