Cognito has a Phase 3 trial ongoing, and results are expected in August. I don’t know how comparable Cognito’s and Sinaptica’s Phase 2 trials are, but both were around the 75-80% range compared to the control group. Sinaptica’s results are percentage-wise better (according to AI).
Could these two products have a symbiosis instead of competing with each other? The Sinaptica and Nexstim setup must be administered at a clinic, whereas, as I understand it, Cognito’s device is indeed designed for home use.
Given this, it would be surprising if Sinaptica cannot secure its funding.
