And if it really taps closer to 9 euros (say, under 9.30), then my buying pants will also be found on the shelf of my closet pretty quickly, but I’m not holding my breath that it will necessarily go that low without company-specific news or a big market downturn.
The EMA50, which has kept the stock well in an upward trend, is around 9.65, ready to catch. My own position is already completely full, but if it goes that far, I might pick up another slice. Today, it didn’t go too far from there. The daily RSI has also fallen below 50, which during spring and summer has indicated that temporary bottoms are coming soon and the rise will continue again. I think we will still get a small rise before the Q3 earnings report.
Uncle’s thanks to his colleagues is an essential part of the Kamux chain, because the thanks concerned the relevant answers to Uncle’s own question. Period. So, thanks again below:
Thank you Seppo and the others! Now Uncle-Masse sleeps well with the Kamux Inc. shares.

Q2: Its result was interpreted as the company having weathered the so-called “corona spring” well. During the quarter, the company also had to readjust to a changing operating environment. Performing well in the actual business also included new scenario analyses and new action plans based on them. In addition, these had to be implemented in every store and for every salesperson. A new way of operating in a new world. Still, they did well. Well, by all accounts, in Q3, people have already gotten a bit used to the new world and have been able to return better to what is essential. Based on available data, used car sales have been reasonably good. It is therefore expected that Q3 data will offer new growth and a small momentum to the next level towards the conquest of Europe.
Now I ask. How on earth can the share price keep falling, even though the direction of business development should be clear to everyone? Seppo Saario told us to buy when the share price makes a new record. Everyone is then in profit, and the path to new records is open, because there are no panic sellers. We didn’t quite get there with Kamux, but almost. It didn’t help. Seppo can, for my part, buy a used car from Kamux and drive back to Spain. In that case, he would be more useful to me too
(well, a little humor, as it’s otherwise such a dry thread
)
Doesn’t the second part of the dividend detach tomorrow?
Yes. €0.11 per share.
It will be hundreds of euros…
If it dips significantly before Q3, I might increase my holdings - it’s the largest weighting in my portfolio (just under 18%).
This autumn, quite a few stocks were peeking at ATH (all-time high) levels until this so-called second wave started to rear its head. Until then, there was probably hope for better, but now everyone is afraid whether Kamux will still be selling cars in the future.
Many long-term holders probably regret not having cashed out their holdings when Saario’s recommendations came out and buying back at 2 euros lower. It’s easy to be wise after the event, of course. As a long-term Kamux holder myself, I sold almost everything recently, purely by chance before this decline. Today, however, I had to buy a little because I can’t be without it; after all, we were an inseparable duo during the corona dip (a rather large Kamux position tied my hands quite a bit, and I couldn’t really buy more). Let’s hope for a bang in the earnings report ![]()

Could there be a small increase tomorrow, before the Q3 earnings, accompanied by a dividend dip? ![]()
Kamux’s RSI has already dropped as low as it was in late March / early April, and for the first time in a while, it’s fighting around the EMA50. Even today, it’s clearly down despite the rest of the market being green. Who has been on the selling side lately?
Perhaps Kamux rose a bit “too quickly” after Intera’s sale. The sentiment seemed to be that a large bundle would be bought from Intera’s sales and at least some would be sold at ATH (all-time high) levels before earnings. The market rarely works this simply. Now, it may have been noticed, and people are starting to take profits.
It’s also good to remember that even though momentum investing is all the rage, institutions probably also try to buy as cheaply as possible, not expensively. My point is that I see very little sense in buying frantically when there are sellers; one can accumulate little by little if they desire the stock.
I assume quite a few people here are watching the course, 8.9 was that the Intera sales bump? One would think there would be buying pressure around 9 euros; I myself could grab some of my lighter positions back…
Well, I guess investors are a bit on the fence here, and there can very well be so-called fundamental reasons for the price drop.
However, I think it’s telling that one sees significantly fewer “I bought Kamux” announcements now than when it was +10€. A stock price drop often makes investors uncertain, and a rise makes them confident again ![]()
My hand is on 9 pips, ready if I can get them for halal. Since there are used cards. I don’t want to pay the new price for them, and on the other hand, my backpack is already full with an average price of well under 9€.
Beginner asks: did the possible €0.11 drop due to the dividend hit yesterday or today?
On the ex-dividend date, the share price usually falls by the amount of the dividend, which now means yesterday’s 22.10. The seller of a trade made then rightfully receives the dividend.
Uncle Masse, FA, when did uncle become an unpaid leader of investment courses? ![]()
So, when the company’s stock exchange release stated that the dividend would be paid to shareholders registered with Euroclear on October 23, 2020, did transactions have to be made yesterday to be included by that date?
You shouldn’t start any service with this advice. To receive the dividend, these had to be owned on October 21st, and the dividend was detached yesterday.
Right, so in order to sell right at opening on October 22nd (=dividend ex-date), you must own those shares before that, meaning by the close of the stock exchange on October 21st at the latest ![]()

This is certainly true, meaning the stock has somewhat fallen out of “momentum” for other stocks. I was mainly wondering if there’s a specific party that has been offloading shares (retail investors, foreign investors, someone else). The volumes, however, haven’t been particularly large. I myself have used this return to sub-10€ prices as an opportunity to add more shares, so I don’t mind. Although now the amount of cash is almost at zero, so it would be unpleasant to start scooping up more from the 9€ level with leverage :D. I don’t believe we’ll drop that low again, and the earnings report is coming in 3 weeks, so there will probably be a slight awakening in volumes.
As far as I understand, no new clouds have gathered on Kamux’s future horizon, and growth expectations should remain the same. I myself have also thought that this price of <10€/share is a nice opportunity to slightly supplement my portfolio. When looking far into the future, a small downward fluctuation doesn’t bother me at all.
