Inderes Coffee Room (Part 7)

A bro-stock is just as reliable as that villain there.

I’ll provide an explanation of the bro-stock concept later this evening if the skilled wordsmith @Kale-possu doesn’t get to it first. @KalleH is an expert in these bro-stocks like I am, so he can also shed some light on this term.

I made a new profile picture inspired by this

In bodybuilding or gym culture, there’s a term broscience, relating to training or nutrition etc.
In Finnish, this is velitiede and effectively means “the guys at the gym said this definitely works”.
Generally speaking, (real) science or facts don’t quite support the claims of broscience.

Following from this, in addition to the bro stock (veliosake), we could also bring up the terms broinvesting and broeconomics.

Got it Bro?

So where are those desired words prompted? :slightly_smiling_face:

You can log in to DALL-E, an OpenAI service, with Google credentials. Dalle is pretty janky compared to Midjourney but more accessible for the average Joe.

Usually, Evo has only had one direction if the earnings report ‘only’ meets expectations, and it hasn’t been up. And earnings traders are disappointed time and time again :slightly_smiling_face::tada:. But make your own choices and predictions about what kind of result is coming :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I got a pretty wild one

Can you create a profile picture similar to the classic Terminator 1 scene where Arnold says “I’ll be back”, but using the current stock market status where bears are running amok and all stocks are crashing. The Terminator is planning to fix it with his knowledge of the future.

@Antti_Jarvenpaa has once again created an excellent tweet thread. In the thread, Antti goes through the basics of reading interim reports. :sunglasses:

For once, justice was served in a clickbait case like this.

Why are there hardly any earnings releases on Mondays? Rough weekend, so they’re not up for it on Monday?

As Sijoitustieto puts it, they wanted to spare people from too much pain. Dreary October Mondays are heavy enough as it is..

It was, after all, five loaves and two fish that fed the whole crowd. The fish clearly refer to Berkshire Hathaway A shares, but what was meant by the loaves?

Hehhe, I’m doing @Pohjolan_Eka’s job this time.

Today, Inderes rode straight into Wulff’s profit warning with a Buy recommendation.

There was already a gap of over 40% to the target price anyway.

Ah, you were a few minutes faster!

Ping the forum’s Wulffmeister @SijoitusSeppo

Now we know why the share price was stagnating

It feels like the market has sniffed out every profit warning this year. Time and again, analysts have gone into warnings with buy recommendations, but the stocks have usually already been sliding for long periods “for no reason”. It’s a grim situation…

Olli was at least in the same ballpark, today in Wulff’s preview: “The risks of reaching the guidance predicting growth in revenue and profit have recently increased, which is why we slightly lowered our earnings forecasts (-2%) for the current year.”

“We are not making changes to our Buy rating or target price (EUR 4.30) before the results.”
