During the beginning of the year, the group’s order backlog has strengthened significantly. The order backlog grew by 35.4% from December of the previous year (24.8) and was 33.6 million euros at the end of June. However, the share of exports in orders received remained weaker than expected regarding deliveries, which weakens the result for the beginning of the year as well as for the entire financial year 2026. Furthermore, the results of the ongoing profitability program have not materialized as planned for the beginning of the year and will fall short of the full-year target.
UPDATE TO PROFIT GUIDANCE
Previous profit guidance, published on February 12, 2026: In Honkarakenne’s view, the group’s net sales in 2026 will be higher than the previous year’s level and will be 42–45 million euros. The group’s operating result will be -1.0 – +0.5 million euros.
The company’s updated view for 2026 is based on the existing order backlog, orders received during the summer and an estimate of their delivery times, the view of the operating environment and the prolonged recovery of the domestic and especially export markets, and an assessment of the realization of cost savings and efficiency measures for the year 2026.
PRELIMINARY INFORMATION ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE FIRST HALF OF 2026
Based on preliminary and unaudited data, the Honkarakenne Group’s net sales for the first half of 2026 were approximately 15.8 million euros, and the operating result was approximately -2.2 million euros.
