GRANGEX AB High-quality iron ore under Swedish ownership from Kirkenes, Norway

I guess there are still quite a few other steps before the mine can be set up. Someone would probably still need to do a Feasibility Study and then secure some kind of financing. Anglo certainly has a priority right and a strong interest in investing money in establishing the mine, but as I understand it, they don’t actually have an investment obligation. Only after that can the mine be opened, which never goes as smoothly as in the movies, so I’d say that the 2027 mine opening will very quickly become 2030 :cowboy_hat_face:

It’s extremely difficult to open a new mine in Norway, as we can see from the NOM example, so it sounds great that all permits are allegedly in order. I would double-check that, because it sounds incredible that there wouldn’t be any permit issues ahead, even though the FS is still ongoing. Otherwise, the production of DR iron pellets looks good as a business, and there should start to be a shortage of them in the 2030s, unless Ukraine manages to modernize its massive iron mines.
