The alliance model, based on equal partnership, has proven to be an effective way to operate in large construction projects. However, the alliance model has not been used in ICT service production. Nevertheless, A-Insinöörit, a design and consulting firm in the construction and real estate sector, decided to scale this good practice to other operations as well. A suitable alliance partner was found in Elmo, a provider of data communication, communication, and ICT solutions. This led to the formation of an inter-company alliance, Anselmo. Efecte was chosen as the alliance’s service management system.
