A fair amount of future expectations have been baked into Bittium’s share price, and naturally, the market gets concerned when Bittium hasn’t been able to close any major new deals.
At the same time, people are probably wondering if Bittium’s systems are really that special after all if ‘no one wants to buy them’, and whether that lead exists or is eroding. Are competitors catching up?
There were expectations of trade news for Finnish industry at the NATO summit, but for Bittium, nothing of the sort was announced. You can see that the share price rose leading up to the summit and collapsed afterwards.
So, should we be worried?
I don’t know, but the more time that passes without any deals, the more concerned I get.
On the other hand, the point that Bittium’s competitors didn’t land any deals is a neutralizing factor. However, it is ‘certain’ that traditional systems are worth/need to be renewed.
