Let’s guess the best-performing stocks in 2019 from the Helsinki stock exchange. I’ll throw in Ovaro, Verkkokauppa, and Nordea.
I’d think Nordea, Outokumpu, and Rovio are the surprises. As of 2.1.2019, all of them have a “favorable” valuation.
Nordea has already made significant changes to its branch network in Finland in 2018, leading to staff reductions, with branches in smaller towns being dormant. So, efforts have already been made to cut costs, which might only be visible in the Q1 earnings report in Finland. And of course, Gardell will get credit for this too…
Nokia, Nordea, and Gofore.
Another guessing game: Which of these might uncle own?:))
Hey, this is a fun game! Suggestion: you can comment on the chain for, say, the month of January, after which it will be closed and we’ll review the situation in a year.
Darts gave the following from Money-honey-to-the-power-of-11: Nokia, Outokumpu and Basware.
- Remedy
- Qt
- Fellow Finance
This thread should probably be locked on 31.12.2018, as suggested above.
P.S. I’m trying to create a separate betting thread for Remedy’s year-end closing price
Verkkokauppacom, Nokia, F-secure ![]()
Innofactor, Tulikivi, Cargotec
Robit, Next Games, and Biohit
Bittium, Nokia, Verkkis
Nokia, Uponor, Tokmanni
Nokia, Tokmanni, Bittium
I could bet that Nordea and Nokia won’t be the most profitable stocks on the Helsinki stock exchange this year.
They’re probably good investments, but they’re not the kind that would take the title of the year’s most profitable stock.
The year’s most profitable stock will probably be found among small, crisis-company-priced companies that have been heavily hit.
Rapala, Remedy, Silmäasema
Since a year is ultimately a short period, my own estimate is that the TOP3 will include acquisition targets. Especially if the year proceeds in a bear market.
Nokia, Verkkis and Remedy.
Remedy, Admicom, and Cargotec.
It is guessed that Nordea, Outokumpu, Nokian Renkaat
Fellow Finance, Verkkokauppa.com, and QT Group
Harvia. Honkarakenne. Digia.
E-commerce / Outokumpu / SSAB
Nordea, Digia, and Wärtsilä
