At the opening of the new Tokmanni in Ähtäri today, there was a queue several hundred meters long, even though the Tuuri Village Shop (Kyläkauppa) is located only about 23 kilometers away. In my opinion, this is a good reminder that Tokmanni’s concept still works in Finland. The price-conscious consumer still exists, and there is demand for new stores in the right locations.
