It puzzles me that this is always viewed from Tokmanni’s perspective, and no one ever considers the sellers’ motives. How often do Swedes sell off profitable and growing companies?
The best indicator of Dollarstore’s decline is precisely the fact that the owners wanted to sell. It was Tokmanni’s job to provide some evidence of a turnaround, but nothing of the sort has been seen, nor are there any indications that such a thing is even coming.
