I wonder if the Dollarstore (or Big Dollar) brand has permanently weakened in Sweden and Denmark. The company’s name strongly evokes Americanism, and its popularity in Europe has taken a hit due to Trump’s threats and antics. Do many Danes and Swedes avoid going to Dollarstore simply because it reminds them of America, Trump’s wars, the Greenland threats, and hostility toward Danish companies and European values in general, even though Dollarstore has no connection to them? Would it be worth rebranding Dollarstores and Denmark’s Big Dollars as Tokmanni for branding reasons?
