It’s worth remembering that Jumpship’s Somerville accounted for approx. 50% of EBIT in Q4; most of the game’s revenue was likely from the Game Pass payment. This was roughly the same amount paid for Jumpship at the time of purchase. Possible earn-outs of over 100 million SEK on top of that.
The game has not been a critical success, and Jumpship has no other announced projects in the pipeline yet.
One might ask if the acquisition was made in haste just to dress up the numbers on a one-off basis.
At least inventory levels were brought down during Q4.
