Partly hype, but also genuine fundamentals behind it. They have three strong products (amusingly named Gotham, Metropolis, and Foundry), for which they already have several contracts with the US government and military, and the upcoming “Koronavilkku” (COVID-19 app) in the US is Palantir’s. And the IPO was apparently significantly undervalued, which is now being corrected. Plus, in the near future, consulting for data usage in business decisions will be a big business, and they indeed have their own product for that analysis, so they have both sides of the coin covered ![]()
SunHydrogen HYSR might be one of the next to surge
Almost 100% in a week, but it doesn’t need to rise much at that price
Too bad it’s an OTC stock
Palantir had a “pretty okay” 200M volume today
And closed at +21.85%
Palantir is quite a hard-to-understand case. At the end of October, I looked into it a bit and considered it, but didn’t buy it around 9, as the valuation felt quite high and the whole business left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth due to all the CIA and other connections. Well, the market then decided that it was dirt cheap and a super nice business after all ![]()
Here, I’ve sometimes tried to sniff out what’s trending. Statistics on tickers used in Twitter discussions:
What makes it so that you can’t buy some OTC (Over-The-Counter) stocks?
OTC stocks are not officially listed and are therefore not subject to the same regulations, etc. This means less consumer protection.
Heh heh, if one had bought those Black Friday penny stocks, the situation would have been like this today ![]()
That really shows the laws of probability, meaning if everyone had invested the same amount blindly, the return would have been about +/-0 today. That’s how it goes when you flip a coin (well, Nabriva certainly knew how to predict it for sure
)
Nabriva is a consistently reliable stock. It always drops by 1% per day ![]()
I’m putting coins on behalf of KOA. For TA, things are looking better and better. A small glimmer of hope in the earnings report. Facebook posts like these increase faith (I don’t know the source)
Kongsberg Automotive / Statistics from the USA give a very positive indication
The American industry organization ACT released preliminary statistics on order intake for heavy trucks in the American market on Thursday, and these figures are extremely positive for the sector.
Order intake for heavy trucks in the Class 8 category has risen to 51,900 units in November, an increase of 33 percent compared to the previous month, while there is a staggering 200 percent increase compared to the same month last year.
“The pandemic’s impact on the economy continues to benefit the truck market. Orders accelerated sharply in November as freight rates rose to record levels over the past three months, and the profits of trucking companies should follow,” commented ACT CEO Kenny Vieth, pointing out that the level of Class 8 orders in November is the third highest ever.
Orders for medium-duty trucks in Class 5-7 amounted to 27,200 units in November, a decrease of 9 percent from October, which was, however, the highest level in 30 months. Compared to last year, order intake for Class 5-7 increased by 78 percent.
The reports on truck order intake in the American market are extremely interesting in relation to Kongsberg Automotive, as we are talking about key customers among all the largest truck manufacturers such as Swedish Volvo, Scania, and German MAN.

It seems that Nordea’s system for Nabriva’s reverse split has updated the price but not the number of shares. In the sell menu, one can proceed to sell the old number of shares with a really big profit.
What kind of mess would that turn into if the sale actually went through? Is this bug only in Nordea’s systems?
Same thing in Nordnet. It seems like I could make a sale.
This would be a bad situation if the stock rocketed today and there was an opportunity to sell. Luckily, in familiar Nabriva style, we’re going into the red.
I bought about 2000 units of that Advax almost blindly, after about an hour of research. Now I’m just watching for a selling opportunity so I don’t end up with a pile of junk at the bottom of my portfolio for years ![]()
They’re talking about it on Yahoo too, so the same problem exists abroad. Something has gone wrong with it
But I kind of suspect that even if it went through without an error message, there would still be some kind of “recall” later. I wouldn’t try to tinker with it ![]()
I have the right amount in Mandatum. A zero came after it.
- A penny stock in the true sense of the word!
- The company name leaves no room for guesswork. Perfect and in line with the times!
- Win-Win, huh?
- Whether the company makes… cars, socks, or nothing is secondary.
Ps. This is not a recommendation in one direction or another and should have been posted in the coffee room.
A penny stock of a penny stock ![]()
Uhm, even a penny is too big a unit for that
A sliver?
