That Metsä Fibre case in Kemi at least relates to an investment, specifically the renewal of the digester. In the big picture, Finland still has too much production capacity compared to the available amount of raw wood. If wood doesn’t come from Russia, then even more production capacity will need to be closed on the chemical processing side. Joutseno already looks like it’s half-dead, unless a miracle happens.
