A press release about the deal appeared on Dunapack’s website on April 21st. Stora likely hasn’t had time to hit ‘enter’ yet.
The 240 million cubic meters being sold represents 13% of Stora Enso’s 1,840 million cubic meters corrugated capacity. The box plants were not integrated with Stora Enso’s containerboard mills.
The box plants generated €74 million in sales in 2025. No financial terms of the deal were disclosed.
