I just bought/sold (Part 8)

The best ideas come in the bath, and I cleared out the credit cards a bit yesterday. Added 3,000 shares of Nightingale @ 0.88 (holding is now 8,000 shares).

Damn it. You’ve got me FOMOing into this now. INFQ is definitely solid if it turns out to be the next Nvidia of the quantum wave  The market cap is still so small that it’s bound to start making some serious gains at some point. Even though it’s already +30% today, for a company of this size, that’s still pretty minor.

Adding more luxury to (investment) life. A 2% stake in Ferrari as a new position. Their customers don’t care about the price at the gas station or the power outlet. There is plenty of that famous pricing power, so margins remain in good shape. In addition to Ferrari, other luxury stocks in the portfolio are LVMH and Pandora, totaling 10%. That should be enough companies for that sector now.

Merlin Inc purchase. :man_mage:

Let’s keep an eye on how the number of owners on Nordnet develops.

NVDA sold with an 11.64% profit. The proceeds went into RGTI, which once again became the largest holding in my speculative portfolio. In my actual “jackpot” portfolio, I own a large stake in QDVE, so there is already significant exposure to NVDA there.

Bought Denlia Group @ 381 NOK

I tasted their mangoes and peaches myself. The mangoes were very good but pricey enough that, as a poor person, I probably won’t buy them every day. The peaches weren’t bad either, but I won’t buy them again since the mangoes are available right there.

In my own small town of 7,000 residents, I walked past the dried fruit shelves in both K-market and S-market, and in both, there was only one bag of Denlia mangoes left on the shelf, while the competitors’ products in adjacent spots were completely full. In my opinion, this is a large enough sample size to describe broader Nordic consumer sentiment and indicates how next week’s earnings report will send the share price flying through the roof. Historically strong growth, a very low amount of debt, and vertical integration.

Adding to Smart Eye on a rising share price. Looking strong.

As @Lexus pointed out, we are technically at a very interesting stage around these levels.

30% increase to Quutti position @€26.96. Manta’s dividends went into this.

Just trimmed 50% of my Nokia position from the long-term portfolio.

Morgan Stanley is driving the gains today. New highs were reached in Helsinki. My expectation is that the highs will remain intact during the crucial US listing on May 14th. If they don’t, that’s fine too. For now, the daily RSI is indicating divergence, meaning the price is rising with less buying momentum than before.

Sticking to the old formula: trimmed Harvia and added more QT, as insiders are buying and shorts are decreasing…

Let’s see how far today’s rally can go :crossed_fingers:t2:

BUY Lumo Kodit

A small addition on top of previous ones, because it’s always nice to invest in what the mainstream hates

With Mandatum’s dividends, I’m buying Mandatum, Sampo, and a small position in Nordea over the coming days.
Moving cash that has been sitting in a savings account for too long into fixed income to generate at least some return, using the Nordea Korko A fund as the vehicle. I’d rather keep an oversized cash buffer there. The bank also appreciates it more when funds are in their own products, especially with mortgage negotiations coming up in the near future.

Monthly savings continue as usual into Nasdaq-100 and S&P 500.

Doubled down yesterday on WisdomTree Quantum Computing ETF (WQTM.DE) from Xetra. Momentum is in the air, and yesterday it felt like the ETF reacted sluggishly to the Trump administration’s announcement. In addition to pure-play actors, WQTM’s largest holdings include the likes of Finland’s Nokia, Nvidia, Amazon, Intel, AMD, and Google; if anything is stable in this market climate, those at least bring me stabilizing peace of mind in an otherwise volatile ETF.

Buy: nLIGHT (LASR) at 75.76 USD.

So, laser guns to replace expensive interceptor missiles. Opened a FOMO position yesterday with a laughably small weight (0.3% of the company portfolio).

I spotted the company here in April. The 60 Minutes clip posted in the company thread serves as a timely introduction to the topic.

QT addition of just under 500 shares. When Mr. Ingman buys heavily, it’s worth following suit.

Added more Huhtamäki.

My reasoning for this was purely that the declined valuation offers a reasonable return. Before yesterday, it wouldn’t even have crossed my mind that this could be a play (acquisition target). But in my opinion, the major shareholder’s sale did put that option on the table. It’s still not necessarily a high probability, but at least it’s greater than zero. And it’s not priced into the share price.

I added more TENX yesterday. A lottery ticket that, in my opinion, is flying under the radar. I’m following Dr. Rich’s lead on this one the most.

Adding more risk to the portfolio because we’re about to take off, and fast. I’m following Peter Thiel’s lead; I’ve been lacking a biopharma company in my portfolio for a long time. 6,000 shares of Abcellera to celebrate the weekend, please!
