Here are Juha’s comments on how Optomed’s subsidiary Ubetec Oy won Veikkaus Oy’s competitive bidding process. 
Optomed announced on Friday that its subsidiary Ubetec Oy has won the competitive bidding process regarding Veikkaus Oy’s gaming compliance services. The total value of the contract is estimated at approximately EUR 0.9 million over a two-year period, averaging around EUR 0.45 million annually. According to the company, only a small portion of the total contract value will be recognized as revenue in 2026. The procurement decision is not yet legally binding (the appeal period is ongoing), and the agreement between the parties has not yet been signed. We consider the news slightly positive for Optomed, as it strengthens Ubetec’s position in Finland’s opening gambling market.
