The U.S. health technology company iHealthScreen has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its iPredict-DR™ AI software, which analyzes images taken with the iCare DRSplus fundus camera and automatically identifies patients in need of screening for diabetic retinopathy. The solution is specifically designed for primary care use, where AI can help increase the accessibility of screening and accelerate the referral of patients for further examination.
