Optomed completely lacks visible owners – the stock price is swayed by faceless, salaried fund managers who have to sell when capital flees from funds, or by pension company portfolio managers who operate completely without accountability for results.
Of course, it’s also worth considering why Optomed doesn’t attract wealthy investors. The investments of Puolimatka and Kaloniemi are quite insignificant compared to their total wealth.
Evidence should finally emerge, and then interest would surely grow among private large investors or their holding companies.
