I know, but there’s still relatively little difference compared to S-Group, and even more so compared to Kesko.
I happen to visit both stores myself, and in my opinion, they clearly have their own strengths that shouldn’t be mixed up; instead, they should emphasize where they are strong.
If they really started competing on price, Lidl would beat the Finnish ones… Lidl can compete on price if it wants to, and S-Group tries to respond. But they’re unlikely to become true rivals when the structure, product portfolio, and concept are completely different… Kesko shouldn’t even get involved in a price war; it should just maintain its own distance from these two players.
