The second dividend installment hasn’t shown up yet. I wonder if they’ve found a better use for it?

Apparently, only the 1st installment has been decided:
It mentions a maximum of 0.06 there, so 0.03 is below that, but one would think that since the minutes mention two installments, the decision regarding the September installment would also have been reported somewhere.

The Board has been given the authorization to distribute or not. Nothing has been promised, and there is still time before the AGM to distribute that second installment. No exact dates were even known, only that comment in the minutes of the general meeting.

North Rail is getting a 51% ownership stake in that joint venture with the City of Imatra, so control will be held by North Rail and the city remains a significant capital provider. Good this way.

What rail traffic is expected to run to and from there?

I believe timber shipments imported from Russia were kept in intermediate storage there at one time.
Not all railway traffic statistics have been released yet, but on the Luumäki–Vainikkala section, net tonnage last year appears to have been 3.345 million tons. This should essentially be North Rail’s tonnage in practice.
(And total net tonnage on the railways was 28 million tons; if I recall correctly, it was 27 million tons in the previous couple of years. = there is likely no upward pressure on track access charges for the rail network.)
But it’s quite a mystery to me as well what the Pelkola setup will look like in the future.
