Absolutely not. I don’t think there has been any “pumping” going on. It’s more that the continuous selling into falling prices from a front-row seat doesn’t exactly instill confidence that the situation is about to improve significantly in the near future. The feeling I got from the interview was that they are hoping for the best, likely promising/hoping for a bit too much, and will probably issue a profit warning before Santa arrives. Time will tell…
It’s hard for a retail investor to know better than the largest shareholder/CEO/founder of the company. If they are selling this clearly from the best vantage point, regardless of the price, it’s not a “buy” for me.
