Data volume is certainly going to increase significantly as new AI-powered phones enter the market at an accelerating pace. Videos will evolve to 4K/8K… phone AI analyzes the environment, AI identifies the surroundings (buildings, objects).

AR at the same time:
The camera streams footage, AI analyzes it, data is retrieved from the cloud, and location is precise at all times. Digital info..
For example, you walk through the city with your phone camera open. AI simultaneously shows restaurants, reviews, prices, routes, etc.
This increases data usage and continuous data flow… faster networks and a constant connection to the cloud are required.
I believe smart glasses will be a big thing, along with the AI running on them.. One can only imagine how much data such smart glasses combined with AI will consume..
Future phones will have 10 Gbps connections.. it won’t be a bottleneck on that end, but rather on the network side. On top of that, all other future smart devices, smarthome, smart cities, IoT, etc..
