SOX is the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index, officially known as the PHLX Semiconductor Sector Index. It tracks the stock performance of around 30 semiconductor companies listed on US stock exchanges. (So Nokia is not included in that index)
Is a decline in that index unambiguously a good thing for Nokia? It could, after all, indicate “hazy” future prospects. This coming Thursday is “full of hope” regarding this as well
