There is no doubt that Nokia was in a dire situation in 2012. It was a crisis, to say the least. But at the same time, it was a good time to buy the stock instead of selling it (as analysts suggested). Since then, more has been paid out in dividends than what the stock cost, and the share price has multiplied many times over.
