Nokia as an investment (Part 4)

Undoubtedly, the computing power of data centers is needed. The efficiency of the models will certainly determine how much, and the growth will surely be significant.

I am perhaps looking at this from a slightly different perspective. First of all, the Americans should be the winners in the model race, and considering the financial structure, problems will arise if Chinese models come out on top. For example, OpenAI simply cannot afford not to be one of the biggest winners. And let’s consider who OpenAI is paying bills to, and who has funded it.

And then, the second thing. I have considered Chinese models unusable from a security standpoint. Even though, in Hyppönen’s case for example, they are disconnected from the rest of the world, it still raises questions as to why he has ended up using them. A few things regarding that—are they better, and apparently they haven’t posed that threat? I don’t believe China is only aiming for localization with these models; rather, the competition with the United States is fiercely intense.

I truly believe in AI, but at the same time, I think the sector has a funding problem. The recent market movements also tell us something, and they certainly have to do with the projected future construction of data centers.

Have a nice weekend everyone!
