The results of the interim analysis of the Protrans Young Phase 2 trial will be presented tomorrow afternoon in Milan at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes congress. Prior to that, they must be disclosed to the market. These are the one-year results for the children’s cohort and the two-year results for the adolescents’ cohort. The study is of high quality, blinded, and investigator-initiated. NextCell’s money is running out. A lot now depends on the results and the extent to which the so-called honeymoon effect plays a role.
So the congressional presentation is on Monday, September 28th. I got the day wrong.

A press release came out, but it just said that the results are not ready yet. They will be published separately once they receive the results from Uppsala University.
The published conference material states that NextCell will present topline results from the ProTrans-Young study. The study is sponsored by Uppsala University, and NextCell has not yet received access to the study data. Therefore, no results from ProTrans-Young will be presented at the conference. The results will be presented separately once they become available.
