It really stings a bit that I had a price alert set for Microsoft at $350 with the intention to buy at that price. It touched that level intraday back in June, but I didn’t manage to buy that day, and then I couldn’t be bothered to buy at a higher price even though there was plenty of time. In the words of Phil Fisher, “Don’t stress about nickels and quarters”—I really should have remembered that again.
