Not counted. Only deals for which a commission is paid.
Yes, that of course depends on what kind of trading one engages in.
I don’t have investments that would yield dividends. I make sure of that.
The whole thing is EUR-denominated ETFs. The number of transactions I have is about 2/month. One login per month.
In that scheme, D serves me very well.
In OP-Mobile, there is the following announcement:
There is a disruption in order transmission on op.fi and OP-mobile, and orders are not being transmitted to marketplaces. Our experts are investigating the fault. In urgent situations concerning securities orders, you can contact OP Customer Service.

Even at S-Bank, it was somehow more confusing than usual to conduct business; it kept throwing me out and complaining about timeouts. I wonder if some of our neighbor’s worms are active again?
Kauppalehti had an article about Revolut. Does anyone here have any experiences with such a mobile app broker?
I like to repeat the warning about Revolut:
Founders
- Nikolay Storonsky
- Vlad Yatsenko
I have a Revolut Metal subscription for €155/year. I use it purely for the benefits included in the subscription, of which I use:
- Perplexity Pro (bought directly for $20/month)
- Financial Times Standard Digital (bought directly for €45/month)
- Wolt+ and NordVPN Plus.
And then that €155 can be deducted from capital income, so it’s a really good deal!
I’ve dabbled in stocks there with a few thousand euros for experimental purposes, didn’t like it. I made the mistake of placing a market order. Surprisingly, Revolut promised to execute it within the next few hours, naturally taking a cut at the worst possible rate ![]()
Instead, alongside Nordnet, I use my southern neighbor’s future unicorn Lightyear https://lightyear.com/, where I invest in the US and London with dollar/pound fees. I can recommend it, a very minimalist and transparent service.
When throwing around warnings, it would be good to also provide justifications, other than just a couple of names and a “wall of text”.
They probably tried to imply Russian connections, but to my knowledge, the founder is Ukrainian. Of course, I don’t know the background.
Since these don’t report directly to the tax authorities, I don’t see why they would beat IB or similar “real” brokers in trading.
I didn’t find a warning in your message. A couple of names and a link to Wikipedia, which tells about Revolut. What and where was the warning? I also didn’t read Wikipedia’s wall of text.
At least for me, it’s enough that our neighboring terrorist state is even briefly mentioned among the owners/founders, wherever that may be. Not a single cent to anything even remotely associated with it.
The founders are of Russian background (one is Ukrainian, but why would a Ukrainian associate with a Russian?). There’s no way of knowing whether there are connections to the FSB and others. In my opinion, it’s pointless to give leeway to our eastern neighbour if it can be prevented in any way. Especially this easily. But of course, it’s everyone’s own decision what they do with the information.
Has Face ID disappeared for others from the Nordnet app?
You’d think it would be better data protection than a password.
Same issue here. I lost five watchlists, and I can’t create new ones either. Are there any quick fixes I could try myself?
I messaged Nordnet about this when I noticed the problem, but I haven’t received any response yet. By the way, I noticed today that the lost list still exists, and its contained threshold alerts seem to be working normally. So I used the stock search function and then tried to add a stock to a list that was still visible, at which point a list of different list options appeared, and in this list, the previously lost list was visible (as well as all the new lists I had tried to create after the problem started). So the lost list still exists, but it is not shown on the ‘My Lists’ tab.
Edit. I haven’t come up with any solution for this myself, but I hope the problem will be fixed with the next app update at the latest.
It seems I also have old lists somehow “hidden”. Perhaps a new update will come soon, as this is probably a problem for many others as well.
@Ahmed-Ahne I just updated the app, and with that, the problem disappeared.
I don’t have the option to update via the App Store, at least not yet. But it’s good if it works, probably here soon too.
I have an Android phone. An update will surely come to the App Store soon as well ![]()
Is there a way to see all companies one can invest in through Danske Bank?
I tried to find an answer using AI and found a section under the investments tab, where I got a good start to a list, but it complains something like “over 75 results, narrow down search criteria”.
I continued to search for an answer with the AI tool, also from this thread with thousands of messages. It turned out that sometimes they could even be exported to Excel from the bank, which is exactly what I was looking for! But no, I couldn’t find such an option.
Do I need to contact customer service about this?
P.S. It’s annoying that Danske’s website is so clumsy anyway, as if it were put together by a novice sole proprietor on one evening, for a few hundred euros. For example, a betting company established on some ‘Kongobongo’ islands always has better pages.
Same “pain” here too. The website, especially the investment section, is terribly bad. No development has occurred, and they are at least a decade behind, e.g., Nordnet. This is very frustrating because, in my opinion, Db’s pricing is okay, and the market offering is also good.
