Here are Rauli’s and Thomas’s comments on the automotive market in July 
July was a mixed bag for the Finnish automotive market, but brighter than June. New passenger car registrations grew significantly, pushing year-to-date registrations above the comparative period. The used car market remained slightly behind the previous year, but the July volume was reasonable when viewed over a longer term. In our opinion, one should not draw too far-reaching conclusions about consumer behavior based on a single month. However, due to the inflationary pressures caused by the conflict in Iran, it is worth keeping a particularly close eye on consumer purchasing behavior regarding higher price-point acquisitions.
